Sunghyun Jason Tjen

As a descendant of generation upon generation of Traditional Chinese Medicine doctors, Sunghyun Jason Tjen has pursued a career as a Registered Acupuncturist (R.Ac) and as a Registered Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioner (R. TCM P.) in Vancouver, Canada. He received a Bachelors of Science degree in Chemistry at UBC and later he is trained in a 5 -year Doctor of Traditional Chinese Medicine program at SHTCMC in Vancouver.
Sunghyun traveled to Korea to study under his grandfather and his colleagues after obtaining a practice license from the College of Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioners and Acupuncturists (CTCMA). Upon completing his practicum in Korea, he returned to Vancouver and started his own practice at Holy Family Acupuncture & Herbal Medicine in North Vancouver since September 2009.
In 2016 and 2017, Sunghyun and Holy Family Acupuncture and Herbal Medicine was rewarded by threebestrated.ca as one of the three best acupuncture clinics in North Vancouver for his earnest work and service!
